Assignment

I was engaged by Alphabet to lead strategic planning for the digital platform as part of a much wider organisational rebrand. While the broader brand transformation was delivered by the agency, my role focused specifically on defining the digital vision, scope, and delivery approach.

This involved close collaboration with agency teams and CEV stakeholders to ensure the digital platform aligned with the new brand direction and long-term organisational goals.

The Project

The programme centred on planning a highly complex website and supporting digital ecosystem. I defined the site architecture, data requirements, and technical roadmap needed to support real-time match data, results, and statistics.

A key component was the planned integration of competition management systems, enabling automatic syncing of tournament schedules and results to deliver accurate, real-time updates for fans, media, and partners. The engagement also included on-site discovery days and workshops at CEV’s headquarters in Luxembourg, aligning stakeholders around scope, feasibility, and delivery priorities.
